4) How long does it take to set up?

Signing up will take you 3 minutes. Then to set up your greeting page will take between
10 to 20 minutes.
Your greeting page contains 1-5 uploaded photos, personal story and
messages for your guests. We provide unlimited space for you to write your story, wishes
and messages to your guests, therefore you should take some time to create the best
possible page for your guests to visit and send you money. You can come back to
edit/change this page as many times as you like, by logging into your account and going
to the "Personal Greeting" Page

6) How do I manage my account?
After logging in with your username and password, you can access your account. You can manage your funds and you have access to the following features at anytime:

Account Details - update and make changes

Personal Greeting - Set up, update and make changes

Invitation Manager - Print out invitation inserts and allow us to email your guests a notification

Guest messages- View and print out

Redeem Funds- Make purchases, withdraw cash and redeem for charity donations

View Transactions- View or print all gift payment and fund redemption transactions

7) Why is it a good idea for HONEYMOONFUND to send invitation emails on my behalf?

In addition to sending out your registry number through your normal wedding invitations,
HONEYMOONFUNDTM also offers you the option to allow us to notify your guests that you
have a wedding gift registry with us via EMAIL. After logging into your account, just go to the
"Invitation Manager" and follow the instructions.
The benefits of emailing notifications are:
Convenience. Our email includes a link straight to your registry page (without requiring your guests to type in your registry number). Make it easy for your guests to find you and send you money. Your guests will be delighted that you have made it so simple and fast for them.
Respectful. Our email message provides all the information your guests will need
in a respectful manner
A less direct approach to notify your guests that you prefer cash (if you feel uncomfortable)
8) Can I still have "traditional envelope giving" at the reception?

YES, If you would still like to have a bird cage, wishing well, red box or
any drop off point for envelopes at the reception. Your guests can
take their HONEYMOONFUND Gift Voucher to the reception.
We provide a beautiful voucher as a "payment receipt" and
we will let your guests know of this feature when they send
money to you.
Cashless vouchers are much more secure than having "cash" brought
to your reception. Many wedding robberies have occurred because
people know that lots of cash is present. No need to safegaurd the envelopes while you are celebrating your special day.
HONEYMOONFUND is FREE for couples. We are the only FREE registry service for couples in Australia. To enable us to provide a FREE account for couples, we have structured our charges around the gift payment transaction only. We believe that guests (friends and family) would be happy to enable the Bridal Couple to have their ideal wedding registry for FREE, therefore we charge a small admin fee to guests during a gift payment.
For less than the cost of "wrapping paper and a card" guests can enable couples to have a FREE registry with HONEYMOONFUND. It's about time that Bridal Couples get something for FREE!

INSTANT EFT Payments- Our payments are currently made through our preferred payment system POLi and is the most cost effective payment method. POLi allows guests to instantly transfer funds from an Australian bank account, guests don't even need to leave our website, its so easy!

For more than $100, Flat Fee of $6.00 + 1.5% (of the amount over $100) + GST
*HONEYMOONFUNDTM donates 50c (of our money) to ChildFund Australia everytime a couple receives a gift payment, this is our money and not additionally charged to guests or couples. The more gifts received, the more we donate, its that simple!
10) How do my guests send me money?
Once your guests have landed on your personalised registry page using your unique registry number, they can send you a cash gift and include a message for you. Please note we can only accommodate Australian resident guests with Australian Bank accounts at this point in time, no foreign currency is enabled.

We accept EFT payments directly from YOUR BRIDAL REGISTRY PAGE via our preferred secure payment system POLi.
POLi allows guests to
instantly transfer funds from any Australian bank account.
Guests don't even have to leave the bridal registry page to make the payment, its automated and very simple. POLi accepts payments from all major Australian Banks and Financial Institutions. Cleared funds will be instantly transferred to the bridal couple's HONEYMOONFUND account.
TAX INVOICE AND RECEIPT
We will provide a beautiful HONEYMOONFUND VOUCHER as a receipt after the gift payment is made.
Upon completion of the gift payment, your fund total will be updated ready for withdrawal and your guests will receive the following:

TAX INVOICE (with PAID status)
HONEYMOONFUNDTM VOUCHER receipt
A voucher will be emailed back to your guests as a receipt of payment and includes your guest's personal message. As a gesture, your guests may like to hand the voucher to you on your wedding day (instead of unsecure cash).

11) What can I do with my funds?
By logging into your account and going to the "Redeem Funds" page. From here you can nominate an amount to redeem.You can redeem your funds for the following:
1) Purchases (From time to time, we will have wedding products such as stationery and cards available for purchase)
2) Charity donations (top up charity donations at anytime)
3) Cash Withdrawal (Your request will be processed and transferred into your bank account. Funds will clear between 2 to 5 business days (depending on your bank).
12) How do I contribute to Charity?

HONEYMOONFUND is an official supporter of ChildFund Australia.
By having HONEYMOONFUND as your gift registry, you will be effortlessly
assisting to raise money for ChildFund. We donate 50c (of our money) everytime
a couple receives a gift payment so the more gifts that our couple recieves, the more we donate. You can easily track the total charity amount raised once you login to your account. You can also "top up" donations by redeeming some of your fund for extra donations to ChildFund Australia.
Alternatively, if you wish to donate money to another Charity, simply withdraw your money and contribute to any Charity you like.
13) How long can my registry stay active for?
Your registry can remain active for up to 24 months from the day of sign up but only remain open for a maximum of 60 days after your wedding day (this is for fraud prevention).
If there are any unredeemed funds left in your account after 60 days from your wedding day, we will transfer the balance to your account automatically and charge an admin fee. We encourage all funds to be redeemed prior to 60 days after the wedding day. You can contact us if you have any individual circumstances that requires special consideration.
14) Do I need to set up a list of "virtual" items or activities to show guests where the money will be spent?
NO, unlike other bridal registries and online wishing wells we don't require you
to spend valuable time creating long lists of "virtual" items that you may not know the prices of or may not end up doing because circumstances change. Creating virtual items are time consuming and are only guesses. These types of lists make couples feel guilty if they don't end up following through with the activity. We do believe that your friends and family need to know how they can contribute to your overall wishes. Offering your guests a general idea of your wishes and what you really want and why is much more meaningful than
holding you to a list of "virtual" items.
We provide unlimited space on your registry page for you to describe your wishes and gratitude. Some examples of this are:
"We are going to Hawaii for 2 weeks to enjoy our first weeks as a married couple. Your gift money would help us to realise again just how beautiful our relationship has become"
"We are saving up to pay for our home extensions. Your generous gift will help us to make room for our new baby"
"We are planning to go to Canada to visit Amanda's parents as it's been over 5 years. They are old and cannot make it to the wedding, so we will be surprising them!"
15) Are we a travel agent or finance company?
NO we are not owned by a travel or finance company therefore your funds are not tied to any travel or finance arrangement. You are free to create your honeymoon registry or wedding fund and withdraw your money to use for what ever you like and where ever you like.
We are a bridal registry service only, we assist couples to communicate a "preference" for cash gifts and provide an online payment and management facility.
From time to time we may have associations, referral programs or member exclusive offers with third parties such as travel agents, finance companies, hotels and other wedding suppliers to provide our clients with optional benefits such as discounts, offers or specials with third party companies.
16) Can I use my HONEYMOONFUND account as an Engagement Registry too?
YES, many couples are setting up their account before the engagement party to start collecting gifts during the engagement. You can use the SAME account as your Engagement Registry and Bridal Registry. All gift funds will be collected for you up until your wedding day. Remember you can withdraw your funds at anytime to use for whatever purpose you like.
17) Can my guests send me money from anywhere in the world?
YES, your guests may send you money conveniently from anywhere in the world using our preferred payment system POLi provided that they have an Australian Bank account as we currently do not accept foreign currency.
No credit cards or foreign currency is enabled at this point in time.
18) Why may I need to provide certain identifications before I make my first withdrawal?
To comply with Australia's Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006, we will require all our registered couples to have identifications checked before making the first withdrawal. The information supplied on our sign up form is usually sufficient for identifications to be checked however in the case that further information is required, HONEYMOONFUND may contact you. HONEYMOONFUND utilises the services of Dun & Bradstreet a certified external ID checking service to provide identification checks.

20) What about Security and Fraud Prevention?
HONEYMOONFUND is very serious when it comes to security of our customers and fraud prevention, we are required to comply with the Federal Government's Anti-Money Laundering | Counter-Terrorism Financing Legislation (AML | CTF) by implementing fraud prevention strategies that are focused on identifying and minimising risk. In our efforts to reduce fraud HONEYMOONFUND is undertaking these various fraud prevention measures;

We are committed to protecting personal and financial information and we take the task of safeguarding this data very seriously.
-The website payment modules are secured by a 256 bit SSL Certificate by Geotrust

- All Credit Card numbers whilst processing are MD5 Encrypted and meet integration requirements.
-No customer credit cards is physically stored on “file” as they are one time transactions processed
in real time.

As a protective measure to help combat fraud, we require that all registered couples must have their identification verified before the first attempt to withdraw funds. We utilise the services of an anti identity theft service provided by Dun and Bradstreet, in order to undertake ID Validation. This process is often seamless to our customers.
RECORD KEEPING
All registration and transaction details are logged and recorded for auditing purposes and for authenticity validation (to assist in fraud prevention and the protection of your account)
QAULITY WEBSITE SERVICES
HONEYMOONFUND’s website system provider and host is TDA Solutions Pty Ltd (TDA). TDA is also contracted by large betting firms, government agencies and even the Australian defence network to test and expose application vulnerabilities. TDA are highly skilled in developing online database applications and produce custom hand coded quality applications.
